Great day of driving and snowshoeing through the mountains. Arrived at Lake Louise about 9am and grabbed some nice shots of the ice sculptures near the Chateau then strapped on the shoes for some winter fun. Although I have looked at doing this hike a few times this was my first time up. The trail is pretty mild but climbs pretty much the entire way. I was a little upset that the awesome blue sky when I started had faded to 18% grey by the time I was out of the trees. Regardless it was a great day.
